It’s really amazing- and maybe unfamiliar to many of us- how many artists were born in one of the villages in Tinos. Nikolaos Gizis, Nikiforos Litras, Giannis Gaitis and many others come from Tinos. Painting was in their DNA and through their masterpieces, they created new cultural movements. That’s our island. It gives you the canvas, you use your brush and paint your dreams.

Based on the tradition, the architecture of the island forms one of its special characteristics. Traditional Tinian houses, perfectly designed, plain and utilitarian are an attraction. Dovecotes with geometrical figures and elaborate windmills make Tinos look like a giant architecture study.
