Namaste handmade concept

“My name is Namaste. I came to this island because it is a place that fills me with serenity and creative energy. I tried to be made of natural materials and I think that I have accomplished that. You and I are in constant flow, so help me become better concerning my progress in the world of fashion and jewelry”.

Antonis and Eva Douroudos, wishing to get close to the environment and not act against it, created the new shop named Namaste which is set in the heart of the marble sculptured Pyrgos. Its philosophy is based on ecology balance and sustainability; here you will find women’s clothes made of purely ecological first materials. At the same time, the entire setting is made of natural first materials while even the packaging is recycling.

The peculiarity of Namaste lies in the clothes manufacturing. Focused on the ancient applied art, Batik, according to which first we paint the fabrics which later on they turn into clothes, it is a sure thing that these clothes are original and imaginative! All paints used derive from nature such as tree leaves and bases, spices and wood – mainly coconut.

Also, here you will find impressive jewels made of semi-precious stones as well as onyx, organic materials like seeds from the rudraksha tree along with recycled glass.

Really influenced by ancient time, there is a collection of handmade embroidered sandals resulting in each pattern to be one of a kind. Additionally, there is a collection of handmade bags – made of neither leather nor plastic.

For the most part, Namaste will form a place of expression for Greek and foreign designers who live in Greece and abroad. Some of them are the following: STELLA CERES /PENNY
CHRISTIDI/VALERIE PANIANDY/NAGIA NIKOLAOU etc.
