Climb Exombourgo reveals the secrets of climbing at the largest boulder area in Europe,Tinos island

climbing areas, there are permanent metallic safety locks in specific
routes on the rock from with the climber passes his rope.
Bouldering at the lower parts
If the use of rope is required for climbing at high rocks, bouldering at low
rocks of up to 5m high is realized only with the help of special mattresses
which provide safety. Bouldering is an activity that became known in the
beginning of the 90’s by the best -perhaps- climber worldwide, Chris
Sharma. At this moment, the countless granite rocks at Volax and Livada
villages have made Tinos a famous destination for the lovers of the sport
while the rock of Exombourgo is considered the largest boulder area in
Europe.

Xombourgo, Climb Exombourgo team has gathered rich material
and information on the most of the almost 90 existing routes while it
collects useful information related to practical issues such as climbers’
accommodation, transportation and access. At the same time, it has
cleaned certain sections from vegetation while it maintained the metallic
steps which are used for the transition from one section to the other.
