A place that works in Tinos, from July 2013 as a gallery, especially young artists selected from across the spectrum of visual arts (painting, sculpture, marble sculpture, etc.).
Presents creations of modern design and jewelery unexpected or recyclable materials. Assumes renewal – transforming old furniture and objects, giving them a fresh image and/or changing their use. She offers interior design services. Objective art is accessible and is an important part of our lives.
«Denou», a name with a meaning.. ?
Konstantina Karampotsou became Denou: It does not mean anything, just be my childhood name, which I use as «artistic» and this sign my creations.
That was the idea?
I work as an interior designer, 25 years and always liked to create things with my hands. Lately, due to the economic crisis my clients thought excessive investment in works of art or buying new furnitures.
What products you ‘re proud of ?
I am proud when customers find it difficult to recognize a furniture theirs renewed – amended when they have to say what it’s made a cameo example (jump rings and caps for beverages, vinyl, cd, capsules nespresso, newspaper, bottle corks, etc. recyclable materials) and of course when they give me compliments on my work and affordable prices.
Something you should know more about what your creations.
I have great love for old furniture and objects which were made by artisans with passion. With creating and love you can do small masterpieces everyday. So…Art -design-recycle!
