A. EXHIBITIONS:
1. SCULPTURE- ENGRAVING- DESIGN AND PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITIONS:
Duration: July-August 2018. Coorganization with the Association of plastic and visual artists of Tinos (60 members).
Exhibition director: Manos Staphanides, art historian.
Exhibition venues: a)Ysternia primary school, b)”Nikos Gaitis” Art Gallery. Modern Tinian artists honor the important creator, analyzing his life and work and starting a conversation with him. Opening exhibition: Sunday, July 8, 2018. Ysternia: 11 AM , Pyrgos: 12 AM. There will be a tour in the tragic artist’s home and a reception afterwards.
2. OPEN-AIR SCULPTURE EXHIBITION IN THE INTERNAL PORT OF TINOS:
The exhibition will take place in the internal port of Tinos (outdoor area opposite the banks) on the occasion of Halepas year. Six Sculpture synthesis by Tinian artists, characterized by linear forms, will be exhibited in co-organization with the Association of Plastic and Visual Artists of Tinos.Duration: June 20-September 30, 2018.
3. PAINTING EXHIBITION OF PETROS ZOUMPOULAKIS:
“Portraits in the long run”. Painting exhibition of Petros Zoumpoulakis who comes from Pyrgos and is awarded by the Academy of Athens. The exhibition includes 60 portrait of artists and intellectual people that had an emotional effect on the artist. Among them, there is Yannoulis Halepas’ portrait, which was chosen as the logo type of the cultural event for Halepas year. There will be a representation of the working Yannoulis Halepas by the artist. The exhibition is put on by Panormos cultural center, in the main hall, in July 1-30, 2018. During the exhibition there will be artistic actions (tours, discussions between artists and the people etc.)and an event in honor of the painter.
4. MARBLE SCULPTURE EXHIBITION:
25 Tinian marble sculptures exhibit their work in honor of Yannoulis Halepas. The tragic artist was born and reach manhood among marble craftsmen. This fact marked his artistic route. The exhibition is organized by the cultural center of Panormos, Tinos, in the main hall, and it will be opened during August 2018. Exhibition director: Manos Stephanides, art historian.This exhibition is the proof that marble craftsmanship is always present in the way of life in Tinos and confirms the fact that it is in the list of the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage. Upon completion of the exhibition, in cooperation with the local authorities, it will be transported to Ermoupolis (2-13 September 2018), Chios (October 2018 ), Ioannina (November 2018)and Dagon, Attiki (December 2018).
5. PAINTING- SCULPTURE AND DESIGN EXHIBITION OF THE STUDENTS OF TINOS ART SCHOOL IN PANORMOS:
40 students of Tinos Art School in Panormos exhibit their work (painting, sculpture and design) in the Cutural Center of Panormos during September 2018. Exhibition curation: Tinos Art School.
6. OPEN AIR SCULPTURE EXHIBITION IN VRIOKASTRO TINOU:
Sculptor Phaethon Griparis, during the summer, carries out, in Vriokastro Tinou, an open air exhibition dedicated to Halepas Year entitled: “Dialogue with nature”.
Β. CLASSICAL MUSIC CONCERTS:
a) The ERT National Symphony Orchestra on Saturday 7 July 2018 at 9:30 PM in the surrounding area of the Holy Church of Evaggelistria of Tinos will perform works by Jaques Offenbach and Antonin Dvorak and the symphony “Halepas” by George Ploumbidis.
b) The Athens State orchestra from October to December 2018 will perform works by Jacques Offenbach and Antonin Dvorak and the symphony “Halepas” by George Ploumbidis in the Athens Concert Hall.
C. ROUND TABLE ABOUT YANNOULIS HALEPAS:
On September 16, 2018, at 20.00, artists and men of letters have a conversation about Yannoulis Halepas in the Cultural Foundation of Tinos. The theme of the meeting will be: “From the Sleeping Female to the Female Figure Relaxing”.

D. 30TH CONFERENCE OF THE GREEK COMPANY IS SOCIAL PEDIATRICS:
Date: 20-23 September 2018
Location: Cultural Foundation of Tinos, Chora Tinou.
Co-Organization with the Greek Company of Social Pediatrics. The event is dedicated to Yannoulis Halepas. Subject: “What does Halepas teach us?”
Lecturer: E. Aslanides, psychiatrist-psychoanalyst.
Curation: Greek Company of Social Pediatrics.
E. BOOK PRESENTATIONS:
1. Presentation of the book: “Van Gogh- Halepas, genius and madness” by Manos Stephanides, author-art historian, in the Cultural Foundation of Tinos. Co Organization with the Cultural Foundation of Tinos (August 6, 2018). Mr Stephanides refers to life and work of the tragic creator, searching for convergences and divergences.
2. Presentation of the book “Our Halepas”, by Costas Danousis, author -historical researcher, in the Cultural Foundation of Tinos. Co organization with the Brotherhood of Tinians in Athens (September 9, 2018 ). The author meditates on the attitude of the local society and the tinian intellectual elite towards the great artist.

F. COMPETITION OF APPRENTICESHIP ABOUT HALEPAS’ WORK IN PRIMARY EDUCATION:
Duration: January 2018 to the end of the school year.
Subject:Yannoulis Halepas’ life and work.
Five primary schools of Tinos take part in the competition. There will be teachers of art and an art historian. The program includes visits to Tinos museums and to Halepas Museum, which used to be his house too. Students’ work in each school will receive awards and all the participants will receive a certificate of completion in Halepas year. The award ceremony will take place in the Cultural Foundation of Tinos (June 8, 2018, 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM).
G. STAMP COLLECTION IN HONOR OF HALEPAS:
In Co-operation with the Hellenic post a collectible stamp will be published 80 years since the great Greek sculptor’s death. Halepas’ portrait will be presented on the stamp painted by the painter Petros Zoumpoulakis.
H. ARTISTIC ALBUM PUBLICATION DEVOTED TO HALEPAS:
Cultural Center of Panormos, Tinou, will publish an artistic Album divoted Halepas’ life and work. Text editing: Alexandra Goulaki- Voutira, archaeologist and art historian in the University of Thessaloniki. Pictures and designs from the artist’s life and work will be included.

J. ARTISTIC CHARTS PRESENTATION ON THE ROUGHCAST OF THE WALLS OF HALEPAS’ HOME-MUSEUM:
The evaluation of the results of the research-study revelation of the artistic charts on the walls of Halepas’ home-museum of the Research Department of TEI Athens, has been assigned to the Service of Modern Monuments of the Ministry of Culture.
