Skoufa Gallery is pleased to present the new solo exhibition by Giorgos Chadoulis, titled “New Landscapes, Swimmers, and Ceramics”, hosted at A Touch of New / Vacation House ASPALATHOS in Triantaros, Tinos. The exhibition opens on Saturday, July 26, 2025, and will run through August 13, 2025.
Giorgos Chadoulis is working across a wide range of media such as painting, drawing, and ceramics. He consistently explores the nature of perception and representation. His paintings do not merely depict places—they evoke memories, dreams, and emotional states. This experiential approach to landscape lends his works an almost existential character, where the natural environment meets the inner self. Chadoulis captures a world of spontaneous, sensual experience that radiates joy and optimism.
At the same time, his consistent engagement with ceramics over the past 20 years is not purely material. He is fascinated not only by its significance from antiquity to contemporary art, but also by its functional value as a utilitarian object. Inspired by nature, mythology, and the human form, his ceramic work exudes the natural vitality and effortless joy of the Mediterranean.
The exhibition is hosted in the village of Triantaros, Tinos. In a very special space—the private residence ASPALATHOS, a touch of new / Vacation House. A reception will follow the opening, featuring local wines and products from Tinos.
