36 years ago, Kollarou family decides to have a lifetime change, leave Athens and return to the homeland. Later on, they create NOUFARA pastry shop, first in partnership and afterwards in family, thanks to the father’s great experience, who had worked for the best pastry shops in Athens (Serafidis, Toulipa, Delis, King’s George hotel etc.) as well as the mother’s silent support. Nowadays, the children are responsible for the shop while the parents remain important helpers in every endeavor.
As time goes by, the simple pastry shop is evolved to a nice café, set in one of the most picturesque alleys of Tinos, Taxiarchon Square & Kontogeorgi, 100m from the main harbor. There, you can enjoy your coffee together with a fine dessert.
At the brand new pastry lab, at the busy regional road of Aghios Ioannis Porto, Vagia location, where a small yet complete pastry shop also operates, apart from sweets and ice-creams, you will also discover puff pastry products of exclusively their production as well as bakery products.
In both shops, you will find traditional tinian sweets such as macaroons, psarakia, sweet cheese pies or tsibites, xerotigana, brittles, lokums etc. Additionally, there is a great variety in cakes, ice-creams, syrup desserts, cookies while the top selected products – always according to the clients – are profiterole, classic chocolate cake, valrhona chocolate cake, ice-cream along with many others suggestions for weddings, christenings or parties.
