2. VOLAX PROJECT

In the village of Volax and in between the granite “works of art” made by nature itself, we try to integrate this new house for a couple of rock climbers.

Entrance

The house is made out of 3 major volumes arranged around the rocks in such a way in order to form a patio in between them. This way we create a “dipole” – a morphological conversation between the “built” and natural space. In this conversation, the construction fades in order for the landscape to play the leading part.

The low height as well as the linearity of the construction, form the frame wich highlights properly the spherical rocks, while the random placement of the volumes in the land contributes to the harmonical integration to this unique landscape.
