Ploos derives from the word “πλοῦς” in the ancient greek and means the good journey of a ship at sea. This is what design is for us. A good journey, and every day we have the curiosity to discover even more things about it.

We design with passion, determination and creativity. We always look for inspiration in small details of the everyday life in order to expand our product range and create outstanding lifestyle products. Always curious to explore new combinations of patterns, materials and colors. We distinguish for our flexibility, conception and freshness. Our minimal lines, and meaningful use of colors compose a unique mixture, the mixture of Ploos Design products.

Ploos Design is a creative studio, founded in 2013 by two young and ambitious industrial designers, Angelica Niarchou & Georgia Oikonomopoulou. It is based in Athens, Greece. They met each other during their studies in Product Design in the beautiful island of Syros. Since then they create collections of modern everyday items for Ploos and other clients, but also undertakes a broad range of design services such as branding, visual identity & packaging.
