In 2000 Thanasis Misentos opens his first workshop is Mykonos island and in 2005 the opening of the shop completes the cycle. Since then, Misento has a steady course in the journey of unique handmade jewels that flow from ancient Greek history and mythology, the stunning blue of the sea and the sky of the Greek landscape and the new, fresh, modern and unstoppable Mykonos!

In 2019 Misento writes a new chapter by opening a new workshop and shop in Tinos island. Tinos is an island with exceptional and unique history, deeply rooted in both ancient Greece and Christianity. Misento Handmade Jewellery wields natural, raw mixed metal, gold, silver, semi-precious and precious stones, creating jewellery that are sought after for both their exclusivity and durability.

Born in 1977, Thanasis Misentos grew up and studied in Athens, where he took his first steps in the field of silver and gold jewelery craftmanship. After he graduated the Goldsmith School of Athens he started working in a variety of shops alongside very experienced craftsmen.

Not long after he opened his first workshop in Mykonos. A fan of Cycladic art and the special beauty of the Cycladic islands, he continues his professional career to this day, creating two more stores in Mykonos and Tinos islands.

His love and passion in what he does is the driving force behind the creation of his jewelery, which are unique as is each individual customer.
He uses minerals and natural materials, gold, silver, precious gemstones and semi-precious gemstones.
