On a daily basis, the father – and cook – Nikiphoros Denekarias prepares snacks and dishes that cause manifestations of worship to all guests. The traditional recipes star in the kitchen, with vegetables that come directly from the family’s garden, Tinian meat and fresh fish, thus creating succulent “mezedes” – fennel balls, artichoke balls, artichoke omelet, Greek sausage as well as Tinian-style cheese and kopanisti – which are the perfect company for your tsipouro or wine. And if you feel like eating more, try the classic specialties, beef in earthenware pot and lamb with artichokes.
