• Almost thirty years ago, when I first came to Tinos, Dimitris was the first person I spoke to. I immediately rented a motor scooter from him and drove to the village where three days later I bought a small decaying cottage.At that time I was a tourist coming to a car rental. • Every year since 2006 I give one or two courses at the beautiful Cultural Foundation of Tinos in the picturesque harbour. The participants come from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. • A car is a car, right? As long as it is clean, reliable, and performs as expected what more could you ask for? Well with a car rental place there is a lot more you can ask for though you can't always expect to get it - namely customer service. Well at Dimitris I had excellent service that they should be commended for. They not only rushed a car through cleaning and preparation when my other reservation fell apart, but when I was dropping it off they took extra efforts to make sure I didn't miss my ferry. • This is a model of what all car rental agencies anywhere in the world should be like. Check-in and Check-out could not have been simpler. The price was fair, and there were absolutely no hidden costs. They quoted a daily rate, and left the return day open. When we returned the car 13 days later, our cost was the quoted daily rate X 13 - exactly. They prefer an international driver's license. The car we got was almost new. Communication via email is excellent. They pick up and drop off at the ferry. This was perhaps the best car rental experience I can remember (and I've had many).

• Couldn't agree more with Michael! We rent cars every year and on this holiday it was our second vehicle on two islands. The first car rental on Evia island didn't go well with a really poor vehicle being supplied with a slow puntcure. We arrived for our honeymoon week on Tinos and our 4x4 jeep was waiting for us in the busy port (even with a special welcome message for our honeymoon from the owners wife!) The whole process couldn't have been simpler. We will definitely always use the Dimitris for our car rentals in Tinos.
